Todd Salus, Ocean Craft Marine (OCM) Vice President, leads the OCM sales, marketing and training teams. Todd is a retired Senior Patrol-Leader and two-tour Combat Veteran of the United Sates Navy’s Coastal and Riverine Warfare Squadron Two-Five. He is a veteran of both Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), during these operations he planned and led well over 300 patrol-craft, combat missions within the Central Command AOR, for which his unit was awarded the Navy Unit Commendation Medal. Todd is the recipient of three awards of the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, two awards of the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal as well as many other organizational and personal awards.

Todd Salus is a current United States Coast Guard 100-Ton, Near-Coastal, Merchant Marine Captain License and also holds a United States Coast Guard 50-Ton, Near-Coastal, Merchant Marine Master’s License. In the direct aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Louisiana, Todd Salus at the request of the State Governor merged his expertise and that of his water-rescue training-team with members from the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division to conduct direct-action waterborne rescue missions and provide concurrent waterborne rescue training to same. Mr. Salus and this team are the recipients of the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) Bunzl Safety Award for their rescue efforts during Hurricane Katrina.

Before taking the helm of the Ocean Craft Marine Operations for the Americas, Todd Salus was the General Manager and Director of Operations for Zodiac of North America Military and Professional Products Division (MilPro) and also the Lead Instructor for the Zodiac Maritime Training Academy and has personally trained countless military and civilian law enforcement units and departments worldwide; domestically these units included such high profile customers as the United States Secret Service Vice-Presidential Security Det., FBI SWAT Teams and the maritime elements of the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team (HRT).

As the Zodiac General Manager, Todd has twice developed and provided maritime solution presentations to the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU) in Dam Neck,
Virginia and he has appeared on Discovery Channel® episodes of Weaponology® and Future Weapons® as a subject matter expert.
