Darren Shelton is a 28-year veteran in the maritime industry where he’s led multiple teams for shipping agencies, big and small.

He’s the Director of Sales at Moran Shipping, Co-Founder/VP of FuelTrust (a greentech software startup) and Chairman Emeritus of the Lone Star Harbor Safety Committee which represents 800+ stakeholders on Houston area ship channels. He sits on the boards of:

• Houston International Seafarers’ Center
  Houston Maritime Center & Museum
• Houston Maritime Arbitrator’s Association
• Houston Pilots’ Board’s Application Review Committee
• Along with working groups for:
  • Greater Houston Port Bureau,
  • Association of Ships Brokers & Agents and
  • Chamber of Shipping Americas

His family lives in Alvin TX where he also serves on the Board of Regents for Alvin Community College and has an EMBA from the University of East London.
