Mr. VanValkenburg presently holds the position of Director of Rave Federal Products and Services at Motorola Solutions. In this role, he is recognized as the subject matter expert in Mass Notification, Critical Communication, and Custom Applications tailored for the Department of Defense and Federal Agencies.

Before joining Motorola Solutions, Mr. VanValkenburg dedicated 23 years to serving in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. His distinguished career culminated in the role of Director of Security for the Supreme Allied Commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the United States Forces Europe Command.

Mr. VanValkenburg has held a multitude of roles with corresponding certifications, including Military Police Patrolman, Special Reaction Team Leader, K-9 Officer, Combat Tracker, Law Enforcement Desk and 911 Operations Officer, Senior Operations Manager for the Director of Emergency Services, Force Protection Officer, Anti-Terrorism Officer, Physical Security Officer, Criminal Investigator, and Incident Commander for the Director of Emergency Services.

After completing his military service, Mr. VanValkenburg furthered his education by earning a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Additionally, he possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science with a Major in Criminal Justice.

Mr. VanValkenburg resides in Atlanta, Georgia. He enjoys personal time with his wife, Airyn, and their beloved pets, Nera, Sassy, Ozzy, and Gracie.
