Drew Sindlinger is a Branch Manager with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Within the Enrollment Services and Vetting Program office’s portfolio of security threat assessment programs, he leads customer service operations and quality assurance initiatives for the TSA PreCheck® Application, Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC®) and Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HME) programs, among other vetted aviation, maritime, and surface populations. Sindlinger is the TWIC Program Manager.
Drew brings nearly two decades of public policy and program management experience to TSA. He manages a dynamic team of professionals focused on improving the customer experience for all applicants via burden reduction strategies, better designed products and processes, and clear communication with customers. He is focused on innovation in the use of biometric identification and credentials as well as user-friendly authentication techniques. From 2020 to 2023, Drew served as the Section Chief for maritime and surface vetting in ESVP’s Vetting Programs Division.
Prior to joining DHS, Drew was a Manager for Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Federal Strategy and Operations practice. Specializing in the intelligence and law enforcement community, he delivered strategic planning, performance management, and integrated program management tools to measure investigative activities, administer national strategies and conduct resource planning. Sindlinger began his career with the U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General leading high-profile audits on biometric and name check technologies, risk management strategies for national security threats, and the automation of forensic examinations.
Drew earned a Master of Business Administration in Security Technology Transition from the George Washington University (GWU), and he holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from GWU’s Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, DC.
