CCTV Operations Manager
Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center (MCAC)

Matt Tripp is the CCTV Operations Manager of the interoperability video sharing program at Maryland’s fusion center, the Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center (MCAC). The program became an immediate success following its first test run during the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, and is now an important situational awareness and maritime domain awareness tool of live video for public safety personnel in Maryland, the National Capital Region (NCR), the Potomac and Chesapeake Bay, its tributaries, and beyond.

Matt began working for the program in 2015 during the program’s initial growth period. He now oversees the operational efficacy of over 19,000 live video streams and he coordinates with over 230 partner organizations that use MView. From technical conception to video stream classification, he has overseen each step every partner takes when joining the program. With over 8 years of CCTV and video software systems experience, Matt provides the technical understanding necessary for long term planning and growth for the program and works to ensure program continuity on a day-to-day level.

Matt has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology at Towson University.
